Jacks River Fly Fishing

The 5th most popular fly fishing river in Georgia.

East of Eton and Crandall, the Jacks River has an abundance of brown trout, brook trout and wild rainbow trout. The river is mainly on public land in the Chattahoochee National Forest and the Cohutta Wilderness Area. The most sought after sections of river are in the wilderness area, especially the regions up and downstream of Jacks River Falls (60 ft). The Jacks River Trail provides access to most of the river. It crosses the river over 40 times, so be ready to get wet.

Overall, Jacks River is the 5th most popular fly fishing river of all 12 fly fishing spots in Georgia.
