Tulpehocken Creek Fly Fishing

The 28th most popular fly fishing river in Pennsylvania.

Northwest of Reading, the Tulpehocken Creek (aka the Tully) is known for its finicky trout. It is a tailwater fishery located below Blue Marsh Lake.

The best section for fly fishing on Tulpehocken Creek is the first four miles below the dam, which is known to be thick with rainbow trout and brown trout. Most of the fly fishermen on the Tully are wading. The caddis hatch is varied and prolific. The Rebers Bridge area is popular for fly fishing on the Tulpehocken Creek.

Overall, Tulpehocken Creek is the 28th most popular fly fishing river of all 49 fly fishing spots in Pennsylvania.
