Northeast of Park City, the Weber River is a meadering cottonwood-lined river with plenty of trout. The river starts high on the western slope of the Uinta Mountains. The best stretch for fly fishing on the Weber River is between the two reservoirs: Rockport reservoir and Echo reservoir. You can expect to find whitefish and brown trout.

Overall, Weber River is the 3rd most popular fly fishing river of all 12 fly fishing spots in Utah.
