Noontootla Creek Fly Fishing

The 9th most popular fly fishing river in Georgia.

Northwest of Dahlonega near Margret, the Noontootla Creek is known as a prime trout stream. It is located in the watershed of the Blue Ridge Wildlife Management Area. The headwaters are close to Winding Stair Gap and the stream flows north into the management area parallel to a Forest Service road. You can expect to find wild brown and rainbow trout (catch-and-release).

Overall, Noontootla Creek is the 9th most popular fly fishing river of all 12 fly fishing spots in Georgia.
