Silver Creek Fly Fishing

The 6th most popular fly fishing river in Arizona.

Near Show Low, the Silver Creek is known for its huge stocked Apache trout and rainbow trout. This spring-fed creek is stocked by a nearby hatchery, and occasionally massive fish over 25 inches are landed. Since the Silver Creek tendy to be silty, few fly fishermen choose to wade; this is more of a shore fishing stream with two miles of banks to explore for pools and pocket water.

Overall, Silver Creek is the 6th most popular fly fishing river of all 10 fly fishing spots in Arizona.
