Near Bushkill, the Big Bushkill Creek is a nice trout stream in the Poconos. While the lower 12 miles of the Big Bushkill Creek are open to fly fishing, there is a 6 mile stretch that has Delayed Harvest Fly Fishing Only regulations. There are several waterfalls on this well-stocked river, and one of the most scenic places to fish is near Resica Falls.
In terms of access, if you want to fish above SR402, try parking along Firestone Road. There are a few parking spots about 1.5 miles upstream of SR402. Make sure to register with at the Boy Scout HQ. Alternately, there is a parking area below the SR402 bridge. Just follow the trail to the river.
If you want to fish the lower stretches of river above the Delaware River confluence, try Creek Road which is accessed from SR209.
Note: Make sure to check out the special fishing regulations on this river before heading out.
Overall, Big Bushkill Creek is the 3rd most popular fly fishing river of all 49 fly fishing spots in Pennsylvania.
