Southwest of Buffalo and northwest of Fredonia, the Canadaway Creek is a popular fly fishing stream. It is a Public Fishing Stream managed by the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation.
To reach the best access from Fredonia, head northwest on Temple Street for 1.2 miles. Turn left heading west on CR73 for 0.5 miles. Turn right heading north on Chestnut Road. Look for parking areas on the right before the US90 underpass.
Overall, Canadaway Creek is the 10th most popular fly fishing river of all 32 fly fishing spots in New York.
